The talking Halloween skeleton
Meet Mr. Skully Bones
A real skeleton head on your porch that actually talks to trick-or-treaters. He hears them, sees their costumes, cracks jokes and moves his jaw in time with every word.

Meet the skull
A real animatronic head
Skully isn’t a picture on a screen. He’s a life-size skeleton head, rebuilt inside with his own motor, lights and Bluetooth brain.
- A servo-driven jaw that moves up and down in time with every word he speaks.
- Tri-color LED eyes that glow red, green, blue or any mix, changing with his mood and with whether he’s listening, thinking or talking.
- A tri-color LED mouth at the back of his throat that lights up from inside as he speaks.
- A Bluetooth controller paired with the Bones app on your iPhone, with firmware updates delivered over the air.
How it works
Set him up. Turn on the porch light. Let him talk.
Set the stage
Put the skeleton head by the door, mount your iPhone beside it facing the path, and pair a Bluetooth speaker.
Wake him up
Open the Bones app. A chime plays and Skully runs his wake-up routine when the skull, speaker and phone are all connected.
Pick the crowd
Choose Kids, Teens or Adults, pick tonight’s character, and turn the phone’s screen into two softly glowing eyes.
Run the night
Watch from inside on a second phone or laptop: see the live transcript, change moods, play a scream, or type a line for him to say.
What he can do
The life of the party. Well, the afterlife.
🗣️
Real conversations
Trick-or-treaters talk, Skully answers in character, with short, funny, kid-safe replies in a natural voice.
💀
A jaw that keeps time
His jaw moves in sync with every word, and his eyes and mouth light up to match his mood.
🧛
He notices costumes
“Ooh, a vampire! Vant some candy?” Skully comments on costumes as visitors walk up.
🎭
A cast of characters
Pirates, vampires, monsters and a witch, each with their own voice, accent and backstory.
🎃
Special guests
Add names of kids you know and Skully greets them personally when they arrive.
😱
Instant scares
Laughs, gasps, howls, screams and a snoring routine, ready at a tap, even offline.
The cast
Two hosts. A whole graveyard of characters.
Pick Skully or Bonita, then choose who they play tonight. Ask “Who are you?” and you might hear “Arr! I be Blackbeard the Pirate!”

Spooky, not creepy
Built for families
- Kid-safe conversation, with safety checks on everything said to him and everything he says back.
- Speech recognition happens on your phone. Only the words are sent, never recordings.
- Costume photos are never stored. The camera only counts people; it never identifies anyone, and Skully never comments on faces, bodies, age or looks.
- Little kids get all the candy they want. Grown-ups get a watchful warning.
